The cool breeze in the mornings still shows signs of winter , but temperatures in the 80's by midday means Summer is on it's way in. Sailfish fishing still remains HOT. We are catching some of the largest fish of the year, and trips with multiple numbers when the winds are from the North East & South East.

The King Fish action has also picked up our spring run is ON and some giant Spanish Mackerel have moved onto the shallow reefs. Some fish up to almost 10 lbs !

I would like to introduce our ALL NEW 2009 custom built by Newton Boats... 57' "Spellbound".

Our 53' 1966 Andy Mortenson charter fishing boat Spellbound was replaced this past spring by a brand new boat. Our ALL NEW Spellbound is a USCG Licensed, Inspected & Insured custom built Charter boat. Our new Coast Guard licensed boat is permitted to take groups over 6, and up to 20+ passengers.

Our New boat is a Sports Fishing Battle Wagon. She is 57' over all and 18'.5" wide. Twin diesel powered with two generators supplying electricity while at sea. Our entire cabin is A/C for great comfort in our hot summers. We have two 200 gallon live wells and a third smaller 60 gallon well. We have 5 fighting chairs to fish from, two down riggers, 40' outriggers, and a 30' Tuna Tower.

Spring fishing action is here! The big Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), King Fish, Sailfish, Black Fin Tuna, Wahoo and more are migrating just 1.5 miles of Miami Beach. Now is the best time of year to get into some great action. Live bait fishing with Herring, Pilchards, and Blue Runners has had great results this week.

If you want a real thrill, we have had amazing action using small live Bonitos. The ALL NEW 57' Spellbound has two 200 gallon live wells that can keep more than 4 dozen live bonitos at one time. Slow trolling the live bonitos (flips) has resulted in some of our largest Sailfish of the year, big Sharks, giant Barracuda, giant Amberjack & many others.
